Normalizes the selected part of an audio file.

Amplifies the selection part to within the
specified percentage of the maximum level.
This function enables you
to achieve the greatest amount of amplification that will not result in
clipping. To normalize to less than the maximum range enter the percentage
of maximum to which you want to normalize. For example, if you choose 50%,
Audio Edit Magic will compute values needed to amplify the file no more than
50% of maximum. If two sounds that have been normalized to 50% are
overlapped, the resulting wave will not exceed the boundaries, and will not
clip.
